Campaigning for social justice and access to politics since 1921.
We have opposed tuition fees, zero hour contracts, unfair wages, cuts to education, student loan reforms, and have supported striking Unite and UCU Members. We've led change at LSE on irregular disciplinary procedures, wages, and zero-hour contracts.
We proudly campaign on behalf of Rachel Blake, our local MP for Cities of London and Westminster, and have helped turned Westminster red in 2024.
LSE Labour has sent countless members into Cabinet, Parliament, think-tanks, and local Government. We use this to give students - well beyond just LSE - a gateway into politics.
LSE Labour hosts world-famous Labour politicians, activists, academics, and writers. We give students, including from beyond LSE, a chance to meet, hear from, and be inspired by policy leaders.
LSE Labour works with LSE academics on research and op-eds in public policy, international relations, elections, and political philosophy.
We offer regular workshops on campaigning, writing, advocacy, and research. We also hold trips to Parliament, Labour offices, think-tanks, and other relevant organisations.
We act as a platform to advocate for issues you care about. We fundraise for humanitarian causes, lobby the LSE and LSESU, and drive change through discourse in publications.
We proudly campaign on behalf of our Labour MP, Rachel Blake, and countless other Labour candidates across London.
LSE Labour is not just about talking. We practice Labour values through monthly volunteering in our local soup kitchen on Lincoln Inn Fields.
